What is Tru Earth Certification?
Ecker’s Apple Farm boasts trees of 14 cultivars that ripen and mature throughout the fall season. Each year our crop is grown in accordance with the Tru Earth program. Tru Earth is a series of
protocols that use Integrated Pest Management, crop ecology techniques, and reduced risk chemistries to ward off pests and disease. By avoiding traditional harsh chemicals, we sustainably grow our apples with conscious thought to people and the environment.
